In The Fringe || Something New

7:26 AM

Okay loves, so the meaning of fashion for me is about self-expression and trying something new, whether it works out in the end is a completely different story, but it is what I love about finding new pieces and putting together an outfit. Every outfit tells the world your mood that day, lets everyone know you are feeling sassy, spontaneous, you feel like a badass wearing those new high heels or pair of jeans. Even the smallest touches such as a ring or necklace completely expresses a part of you as a creative being because it does not matter what you are doing that day, you are creating and recreating yourself everyday.

Soooooo, I totally caved and bought these fringed jeans from the Asos petite clothing line even though I do not own any piece of clothing close to how fun these jeans look to me. I love fringe detailing on everything. Carpet, jackets, my grandmas sofa, haha just on everything. :D Besides that, let's just say I didn't think these were going to work for me and guess what!?. . .

I still think that! These jeans, even though meant for petite women like me, has proportions I do not think work on me and they are a wee bit to loose though that is definitely the style (I could have gone a size smaller, oopsy). These jeans are giving me the same problem I have in finding boyfriend jeans, they do not hit the legs at the right spot and I somehow lose my figure in the fabric. Alas, I kept and wore them anyways.

I still plan on wearing them obviously since I have this set of photos. I love the pants and they would look so wonderful on a more leggy beauty. I will continue to style this piece many times over since my brain constantly is churning different ideas keeping me an insomniac.

Let me know what you guys think of these fringey jeans! If you want to purchase them, Asos still has sizes available and they come in petite and tall options as well.

Do you think I can make them work oooor? Be honest, I swear I can take it!
